Accessibility Statement

Constructive Eating’s products are used by many people, some of whom have disabilities.  As such, we are acutely aware that access to any company’s website can present challenges for people with certain disabilities.  Creating a website that is accessible to all users is an ongoing challenge because a person’s disability is often unique and what may work well for one person, may cause difficulties for another.

Our company has made efforts to accommodate as many of our customers and potential customers as is reasonable given our size, resources, and the knowledge we possess of the needs of our customer base.  We have engaged the services of professionals to assist and advise us in these matters.

Constructive Eating, in consultation with our attorneys and our web developers, have designed our website to meet or exceed the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA (WCAG 2.1 AA).  We have conducted an accessibility review of our website and have remediated any issues identified during that review.

We recognize that not only the best practices for Web Content Accessibility, but also the design and layout of our website are ever evolving.  Our goal is to continuously improve both the content and accessibility of our website for our customers.  Consistent with normal business practices for a company of our size and resources, despite the efforts we have made regarding accessibility, some content, features, processes, or policies may yet be improved.  Our ability to improve our accessibility is greatly helped when we receive feedback from our customers.

If you are experiencing difficulties with any content on our website because of a disability, or if you require assistance with any part of our site because of your particular disability, please contact us at 734-418-3241, extension 301, or email us at websiteaccess@constructiveeating.com. We will be happy to provide assistance.

If you do encounter an accessibility issue, please explain in as much detail as possible, what type of difficulty you had, or may have had, or believe others may have.  We will make all reasonable efforts to resolve the accessibility issue.

If you do contact us, please know that your privacy will be strictly protected. We will not share any of your personal information outside of our organization.
